The dress is a 1940s rayon day dress with a brown background and a floral ditsy print featuring small flowers in a lighter brown, yellow, red, white, grey, and green.
It has short, puffed sleeves and a fitted bodice with shirring details at the shoulders and bust. The waist is defined and has a shirred peplum. There are ties attached to the waist.
The skirt is A-line, falling to about knee-length. The dress is rayon with it’s original zippers, one in back of the neck and one on the side of the waist. There are small shoulder pads attached.
CONDITION: There are no flaws that I can find. No fading, holes, tears, or stains. The seams are secure. I am rating this as being in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
