Vintage 1950s Black and Red Taffeta Dress w Rhinestones

This is a vintage 1950s circle skirt dress with a black velvet collar. The base color of the dress black with red embroidery is in a serpentine pattern, covering the dress.

The black velvet is repeated with a black velvet rope style tie around the waist. The bodice is covered with clear rhinestones. I find none missing.

Th dress appears to be made of taffeta with a plain black nylon underskirt which is also lined at the bottom in red tulle. The skirt is full and flared. The dress zips on the side and has it’s original zipper which is in great condition.

CONDITION:

This beautiful dress has only one issue; a small patched hole on the back skirt. The hole is about the size 2mm x 1mm. Really tiny and again is patched so it is not visible. The rest of the dress is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.
