Vintage 1920s Satin Dress from Boardwalk Empire Show XL

$368.00

Shipping to United States: $5.50

This vintage 1920s dress was used on the set of Boardwalk Empire, although not sure who wore it. You can see from the tag inside it was marked and inventoried.

The dress is made of a lustrous black satin fabric, giving it a sleek and elegant appearance.

It features a straight, relaxed fit through the torso, with a V-neckline and sleeveless design, embodying the less restrictive styles of the 1920s.

The dress was missing a belt so I had an expert vintage seamstress make a black belt which cinches the dress at the waist. The dress clip is an authentic and made with rhinestones. The belt clip itself is worth over $100.

The skirt is designed with multiple tiers and ruching at the sides and the back of the dress. The hem is adorned with black lace trim, adding a touch of intricate detail and contrasting texture.

Like all dresses from the 20s before zippers were used, the dress opens at the side with authentic snaps.

CONDITION:

The dress is in amazing condition for being about 100 years old. There are about 6 pin holes throughout the dress. There is a slight brown sheen on a couple areas of the dress which are almost impossible to see.
