Vintage 1940s Red and Black Check Wool Jacket XS

This jacket is as close to mint as they come. A beautiful lipstick red and black houndstooth checkered jacket with square jet buttons, bound button holes, and red crepe lining.

The jacket has built in shoulder pads and flaps that goes from the shoulders and follows down the front where it ends with black jet buttons. There is a faux pocket on each side with a black jet button accent on each corner.

There is label and a tag on the inside. One label says “Benson’s of West Chester, PA” which is the store that sold this jacket. The other tag shows the jacket is union made.

CONDITION: There are two lightened areas on the inside lining which are nickel and a pea sized, accordingly. They are directly on the back side so they do not show when worn. Otherwise the jacket is in flawless excellent condition.
