This is a pink and white very late 1940s or early 1950 day dress. The fabric is a semi-sheer cotton voile. The label says “mynette.” There is an additional tag that says “cotton viole” and “size 20 1/2.”
This frock has a classic mid-century fit-and-flare shape featuring a nipped-in "wasp" waist and an A-line skirt. There are small padded shoulders.
This short sleeve dress has a flattering V-neckline with a unique pleated detail at the chest. The dress zips at the waist and has its original zipper.
There is an all-over abstract sunburst or floral print in vibrant pink and white and includes a matching, slender belt with a buckle.
