1940s Black Crepe Stud Dress Med/Lg

This is a wonderful stud dress from my personal collection. The fabric is crepe and is dotted with gold metal studs.

The sleeves puff and have are gathered with elastic on the bottom. The waist has a gathered circle with strings, but it is a faux design. You cannot tighten the strings. The dress zips in the side and has its original zipper.

CONDITION:

As beautiful as the dress is, there are a two issues with the studs:

On the top of the shoulders there are 5 broken or missing studs on one side, 4 on the other. The studs throughout have some fading in the gold. I suppose you could replace the studs here and there if you are up to it!

The fabric itself is in excellent condition with no holes, tears or fading. I am rating this dress as being in VERY GOOD condition. The issues are reflected in the price.

Mint: Never worn or used. No flaws or wear.
Near Mint: Possibly worn with little to no signs of wear and no flaws.
Excellent: Previously worn or used with no noticeable flaws.
Very Good: Previously worn with noted minor flaws not noticeable for wear.
Good: Minor flaws as noted. Wearable. Minor repairs required.
Good-aged: Overall good condition, either a little faded, or just looks "tired."
Fair: Numerous noted flaws, possibly wearable after care or repair.
Poor: Damage which cannot be repaired. Possible use as study piece or cutter.
