First of two lay-away reserves for Katrine Laegaard. 30% deposit on $145 which is $43.05. Plus 30% of postage of $22 which is $6.60 for a total of $49.65.
The balance of hat is due October 31. Total on $145 - $43.05 is $101.95. Remaining postage which is $22 - $6.60 is $15.40. The second reserve is due October 31, 2017. If not paid on that date, the lay-away amount of $43.05 will be non-refundable and item returned to stock. Seller will refund the $6.60 postage.
The hat has two labels. One says STETSON 5th Avenue. The other says "Stetson Hat Shop, 1224 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia.
MEASUREMENTS:
The hat is 12.5" across and has a 4" high crown. The tag says 21.5" circumference.
CONDITION:
I am rating the hat as being in EXCELLENT MINUS condition. Very minor overall wear.
VINTAGE CONDITION RATING CHART:
Mint: Never worn or used. No flaws or wear.
Near Mint: Possibly worn with little to no signs of wear and no flaws.
Excellent: Previously worn or used with no noticeable flaws.
Very Good: Previously worn with noted minor flaws not noticeable for wear.
Good: Minor flaws as noted. Wearable. Minor repairs required.
Good-aged: Overall good condition, either a little faded, or just looks "tired."
Fair: Numerous noted flaws, possibly wearable after care or repair.
Poor: Damage which cannot be repaired. Possible use as study piece or cutter.
STORY POLICIES
1. Nature of Vintage: Vintage clothing is just that, VINTAGE, Items are usually decades old, and because of that, there will most likely always be a few MINOR flaws not described. I do my absolute best to examine my items as closely as possible so as to record and describe these issues via photos and item descriptions, however, one must expect to find wee little problems that I have over-looked. It is up to you to understand that this policy takes effect whenever you bid or purchase one of my items. Because of this, and unless the flaw noted is deemed "see-able" and/or "gross." Each item shall be considered "As-is."
2. Payment: Payment must be received w/n 24 hrs of a winning bid or purchase. All items will be shipped "first" or "priority" class via USPS. I will be happy to combine purchases after I post your items and determine the final cost. PLEASE BE AWARE that I often list my items either "Free shipping" or below the regular costs of shipping, therefore there usually is no "over-charge" for combined shipping. Each purchase will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Each item will have confirmation tracking. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: Items will be shipped via USPS priority. Each item will have a Customs Declaration which will track your item up to the entrance to your country. I will make sure the duty fees are very VERY little... ATTENTION: POSTAGE WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU IF IT COSTS LESS THAN I QUOTED WHEN I GET TO THE POST OFFICE. I AM USUALLY CORRECT, BUT I WILL NOT OVER-CHARGE YOU ON THIS NO MATTER WHAT.
3. Return Policy: No returns because you simply do not care for the item, or you misread or forgot to read the item description. Items WILL be returnable if I grossly described or listed items without obvious flaws. Please see #1 "Nature of Vintage" for a description of what is considered the regular condition of vintage clothing.
