Reserve Daniel B. Vintage Edwardian Azure Blue Cotton Dress for Study

It’s so tragic how this dress was stored, but lucky for us it’s still in one piece and an incredible dress to recreate!

The blue is so gorgeous the person wearing this could not be missed. It opens along the right panel of embroidery. The embroidery itself is different shades of blue and a silvery gold floral design. The center is layers of silk ribbon as are the sleeves. The sleeves have layers in the center with blue cotton folding to a button. The cotton itself is luxurious and must have been very expensive for its time.

The collar and down the center is edged in white lace. There are four booths edging the embroidery on the top of the bust area.

The inside of the dress is lined with grey cotton and there are two sets of hooks, one on the grey and one as mentioned, to the side of the embroidered panel.

CONDITION: There are moth holes throughout and shattering on the silk. The ribboning on the left sleeve is very shattered.

I am rating this dress as being in poor condition.
