Vintage Early 1940s Cream amd Gold Polka Doy Taffeta Blouse

This was found in a box at my consignor’s house. Her mother and grandmother were hoarders starting from the Edwardian era. This blouse is late 1930s, early 1940s.

The blouse is a cream color taffeta with gold polka dots and 15 gold round buttons. The blouse opens at the buttons and there are no zippers or other openings. There are two darts running down the sides in the front and the blouse has a double peplum.

CONDITION: The blouse is lightly discolored on the inside of the neck and a hint on the front of the blouse. It could probably use a soak but I will leave that up to you so I can price as-is. You can wear. It without soaking just thought it needed a mention. Other than that it is in EXCELLENT CONDITION.

Very Good: Previously worn with noted minor flaws not noticeable for wear.
Good: Minor flaws as noted. Wearable. Minor repairs required.
Good-aged: Overall good condition, either a little faded, or just looks "tired."
Fair: Numerous noted flaws, possibly wearable after care or repair.
Poor: Damage which cannot be repaired. Possible use as study piece or cutter.
