A classic example of a 1930s bathing suit by Janten. Going by the label guide on the Vintage Fashion Guild website, this suit was made in the 1930s.
The suit is a little darker blue then the photos show but very close. The straps and the belt are a blue and white crisscrossing stripe pattern. The belt buckle is dark blue and is either lucite or Bakelite but not sure.
The suit looks like a thick cotton or wool.
MEASUREMENTS:
Shoulders: Free
Bust: 17” x 2
Waist: 14” x 2

CONDITION: The belt looks like a piece of it broke off, but it is only apparent if you look closely (see pic.) Otherwise the suit has no fading, tears, holes, stains or smells. I am rating it as being in excellent minus condition.
