Beautiful maroon/wine colored gaberdine suit with issues.
The label says “Metz” made expressly for “Lewis’ Style Shop.” The suit is has two shoulder pads, is lined with crepe and has 4 bakelite buttons. The front has two deep pockets with slit openings on the side.
CONDITION:
There are a series of tiny chews on the inside area of each sleeve (see pics.) There is a slight chew on the edge of the jacket on the bottom. Left sleeve has two moth holes (tiny.) Skirt appears fine with maybe a couple slight chews that are almost imperceptible.
This would be a great starter suit and the gaberdine is otherwise very beautiful and high end. The moth chews and holes can be repaired by specialists if you wish to restore the suit completely. Otherwise price reflects issues. As-Is.
